AUTUMN GETAWAY to GEELONG
Tuesday 24 to Friday 27 March 2020 4 Days / 3 Nights
Previous organisers, Enid & Geoff Oscar have been joined by Ginny & Denis Roberts to propose a return visit to Geelong, rekindling the very happy time had in 2008. Enid is a Geelong girl, so knows it well.
Enjoying an excellent base at Discovery Parks Geelong (formerly Big 4), on the banks of the Barwon River, we aim is to discover parts of Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula not normally visited by BBLAC members. A range of cabins are available, also van sites.
We are planning:-
· Picnic lunch at the historic Botanic Gardens on the way
· Optional walk along the Barwon soon after arrival
· Happy Hour every late afternoon
· Our traditional first night BYO barbecue
· Communal dine-outs to two excellent inexpensive nearby restaurants
· Bike-riding on safe bike paths
· Golf at nearby Queens Park
· Visits to any number of excellent local tourist attractions
· Proposed tour of the fabulous Bellarine Peninsula, with lunch at Queenscliff
- BYO breakfast on Thursday morning (champers anyone?!)

Cabin sharing will be encouraged. We will try to place singles who can’t arrange a share.
