AUSTRALIA DAY PICNIC/BBQ  Noon               Sunday, January 26

To welcome in the year 2020 and, as tradition dictates, this event will be held at

Basterfield Park, Hampton East [Melways Map 77 ref C7]

All members are encouraged to attend on this commemorative and important national day, being suitably dressed for possible extreme sunny weather conditions, wearing hats, name badges, plenty of “slip slap slop”, and bringing your I.C.E. card, as well as liquid and solid refreshments, tables and chairs, etc.

For those who may not be aware, there are free BBQ facilities, toilets close by, as well as a large shelter with tables and bench seats to protect you from the elements.

There is even a small lake nearby to view the ducks and local flora & fauna.

So let us proudly celebrate with both old and new members by bringing our Aussie flags, and if applicable, your community service medals.

Your friendly convenors will be pleased to see and greet you on arrival.
